Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for providing, developing and implementing product quality plans, documents, and systems by creating product specifications, quality specifications, quality plans, and risk analysis by leading a team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

• Mentor and guide team members on the updated tools and techniques
• Analyse a specific problem reported, identify the root cause and generate the detailed report
• Design test cycles with end-to-end test plans and define test execution strategy with criteria with effort estimation
• Work closely with project management team to define QA activities for an upcoming project
• Ensure content and structure of all testing documents is documented and maintained
• Document test strategy, test plans, and test cases based on requirements
• Design, develop and execute plans to convert manual test plans to automated type scripts
• Set up automated regression testing and unit testing scripts
• Estimate and review QA efforts as part of the overall development effort
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• At least three years of experience in the related field.
• Excellent command of English in both written and verbal.
• Adherence to deadlines and the ability to deliver on commitments
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Experience with logging and monitoring frameworks
• Experience working with Agile Methodologies
• Demonstrable knowledge of Selenium, Cypress or any other automation frameworks
• Experience with Git and OOP concepts
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools will be a plus.
